Well anyone that knows me would definitely know that I am and have been a big fan of the tv series 24. From day one I found it very intriguing and unique that they decided to have the show run in real time and that an entire season only consists of one full day. Well the series is finally coming to an end, for years there have been huge rumors as to a 24 movie eventually being made. as reported by http://www.hollyscoop.com/movies/24/24-movie-gets-the-greenlight_1950.aspx#axzz0lbtl3aw5. The script has apparently been green lighted.

One of the things that will be interesting to see based on the report is that they are going to movie away from the real time factor that has made the series so successful, to a more traditional format. Of course most everyone figured they would have to move away from the real time to do a movie, but the real question will be is how the die hard fanst will receive this change. The real time episodes has been so groundbreaking that many fans may have expected them to do something that will be groundbreaking with the movie. I for one am really exdcited to hear this news and I am definitely looking forward to learning more about the movie as more and more details are released.
